i agree with Patricia Ryan because of the growing number of  language  being loss do to no one using them .i believe knowing more than one  language  is a good thing because it allows you to connect with other countries or people from those countries (even if its hard to learn them).if people didn't know more than one  language  then the world would be a really isolated place with a bunch of different people talking different  language  and if that was still happening then we would have the advances of technology or cultures we would just be stuck with our own  language/culture
